He was predeceased by: his parents, Travis Griffin and Donna Wester Griffin; his siblings, T. J. Griffin (Alice) and Elizabeth Griffin Black; and his brother-in-law Hugo "Sonny" Black.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Kimbrel Griffin; his daughters, Patty Griffin Wester (Will) and Lucinda Griffin Graven (James); his grandchildren, Madison Wester Smith (Griffin), Amelia Wester, Grace Wester Ripley (Chris), Olivia Wester, Willa Wester, Donovan Graven and Kimbrel Graven; and his great grandchildren, Wes Smith, Deacon Smith, Maria Smith and Theo Smith.
