She was predeceased by: her father Charles Bates. She is survived by: her mother Marie Schatz Bates; her stepmother Ina Bates; her children, Michael Hart (Lauren), Charles Jacobson (Rachel) and Jenna Jacobson; her siblings, Roger Bates (Crystal), Glen Bates (Trish), Dennis Young (Amber), Doug Young and Diana Lovell (Derrick); and her grandchildren, Carmen Mullins, Christian Hart, Kaydence Hart, Parker Gray and Weston Jacobson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and many other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Russell Haven of Rest (2335 Sandridge Rd, Green Cove Springs, FL 32043). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
