She is survived by: her siblings, Barbara Barbour (Jackson) and Ken Jackson; her children, Sherrie Poblete, Wayne Brannan (Tami), Carol Smith (Bob), Shirley Thompson (Rob) and Patrick Dowdy (Laura); her grandchildren, Alicia Poblete, Carlos Poblete, Chance Brannan, Brandon Smith, Cereina Hall, Christina Thompson, Casey Thompson and Ethan Dowdy; and her great grandchildren, Emma, Spencer, Jayden, Noah, Lillian, Violet, Larue, Jaxson and Saige.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Russell Haven (2335 Sandridge Rd, Green Cove Springs, FL 32043). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 1:30 PM at the same location. This tight-knit sisterhood brought her immense comfort, especially through the isolation of the COVID-19 pandemic, when her classmates kept her spirits high with regular phone calls and porch drop-offs.
