She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Lucille Berkins Akins; and her children, Tisher Akins of Greensboro, FL, Ronnie Akins (Betty) of Gretna, FL, Cynthia Akins-Gee of Greensboro, FL and Damon Akins (Jennifer) of Tallahassee, FL. She was also cherished by 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bradwell Mortuary (18300 Blue Star Hwy, Quincy, FL 32351). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Pine Bloom M. B. Church (229 Kemp St, Greensboro, FL 32330).
