He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Bembry (Ocilla McDaniel Bembry) and Ocilla McDaniel Bembry of Florida; and his siblings, Clarence W. Bembry, Elwood Bembry, Linda Gayle Lilbridge and Brenda Lawson Kohout.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Elaine Register Bembry; his children, Lori Bembry Weldon, Lenord L. "Kip" Bembry Jr. (Pamela Leona) and Jacqueline Melissa "Missy" Culp; and his grandchildren, Kendall Susanne Weldon, Jacqueline Alexis "Lexi" Weldon Cassimus (John Marcus Cassimus), Logan Brooke Weldon, William Cade Weldon, Maggie Bembry Gillespie (Robert Gillespie), Molly Bembry Reichert (Will Reichert), Davis Beau Bembry, Madeline Chloe Culp and Warren Palmer Culp.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Big Bend Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association.
