He was predeceased by: his wife Lynda Gilliard McMurphy; his parents, Warren and Gladys; his siblings, Warren, Jack, Hubert, Mary and Nell; and his great grandchildren, Olivia and Bennett.
He is survived by: his children, Mandy Messer (Tony) and Mark McMurphy (Kim); his grandchildren, Blake Messer (Jessica), Taylor Moncaleano (Sebastian), Colby McMurphy and Carson McMurphy; and his great grandchildren, Jameson Messer, Isaac Moncaleano and Mia Moncaleano.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at 1520 Legacy Wds Ct, Groveland, FL 34736.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Winking Warrior Foundation—a cause that was close to his heart and an extension of his legacy of compassion.
