He was predeceased by: his father Terry Carter. He is survived by: his fiancé Jamie Swindle; his children, Casey (Cody Long) and Byron Carter; his mother Lynn Pogue; and his grandsons, Grant and Landon. He is also survived by his family, especially his children and grandchildren and fiancé.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Winter Oak Funeral Home and Cremations (1132 E Plant St, Winter Garden, FL 34787). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at the Oakland Cemetery.
