It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eugene O. Edwards (Gulf Breeze, Florida), who passed away on March 9, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Edwards and Elsie Pierce Edwards; his sons, Jerry O. Edwards and Stephen E. Edwards; and his former wife Perneiche Alice Edwards (Hobbs).

He is survived by: his friend Perneiche Alice Hobbs; his sons, William O. Edwards (Bill) and Richard L. Edwards; and his wife Carmen Wright Edwards. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
