It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Cunningham of Gulf Breeze, Florida, born in Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on September 12, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles and Helen; his brother Turk; and his sister-in-law Rose. He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, Tappie (Paul) of Gulf Breeze, Kaycee (Blake Olson) and Scott (Caroline); his granddaughter Isabelle; his son Andrew; and his grandchildren, Sam, Gabe and Cody.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Rose Lawn Funeral Home (2942 Gulf Breeze Pkwy, Gulf Breeze, FL 32563). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pensacola Bama Club in support of student scholarships at https://alumni.ua.edu.
