She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry John and Jenny Dahlgren Albers; her husband V. C. "Whit" Whitmire; and her son Robert Albers Whitmire. She is survived by: her son David Allen Whitmire (Cecelia) of Plano, TX; her granddaughters, Katheryn and Elaine; her son Mark Thomas Whitmire (Melissa) of Gulf Breeze, FL; her granddaughters, Louisa and Amelia Alexander (Brett); her daughters, Jenny Whitmire Harris (Steve) of Cumming and Georgia; her granddaughters, Sarah Clark and Anne Clark Harris (Alex); her great grandchildren, James and Ethan; her grandson James Whitmire (Stacey) of Navarre, FL; and her great grandchildren, Michael (Kaiti), Wesley (Nona), Sophia and Robert Whitmire.
