He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Roe Barrett and Joseph Comer Barrett Jr.; his son Joseph Comer Barrett IV; and his former wife Joy Carr Barrett. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Barnes Barrett; his children, Lee Barrett Wilpon (late Bruce) and Paul Carr Barrett (Sabine); his granddaughter Zoe Joy Wilpon; and his sister Margaret Roe VanAntwerp. He is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews.
