It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth Elder-Pochron in Gulf Breeze, Florida, born in Frederick, Maryland, who passed away on February 17, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lincoln Schultz and Goldie Pearl Baugher; her husband James Pochron; her former husband Herschel Lee Elder; her granddaughter Christina Elder; and her siblings, Anna Louise Keith, Mary Ellen Creager, Faye Alberta Keiser, Edna Pearl Baer, Jean Helen Villalva, James Lincoln Schultz, Charles Henry Schultz and William Leroy Schultz.
She is survived by: her sister Kathy Darla O'Connor of Hagerstown, MD; and her sons, Hershel Lee, Alan Dale Elder of Gulf Breeze, FL, David Wayne and Mark Anthony. She is also survived by 4 sons, 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
