Catherine Lavonna Hamman Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Catherine Lavonna Hamman of Gulf Hammock, Florida, born in Hillsdale, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 11, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Richard Hamman; her sister Shirley Raker of Ohio; and her granddaughter Elisabeth Marie Yearty of Gulf Hammock. She is survived by: her daughter Lavonna "Vonnie"; her son-in-law Bill Keith of Gulf Hammock; her brother Eugene Heath of Ohio, Her; her grandchildren, Billy Keith (Ginny) and Lauren Byrd (Jason); her grandson-in-law Will Yearty (Liz); and her great grandchildren, Grayson Yearty, Gibbs Yearty (Isabelle), Serenity Yearty, Emma Grace King (Ben), Will Keith, Lawson Byrd, Everett Byrd and Wiley Byrd.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Otter Creek Baptist Church (171 SW 3rd St, Otter Creek, FL 32683). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mrs. Hamman's memory to Creekside Christian School, P.O. Box 17 Otter Creek, Fl 32683.
