He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Ruchko and Helen Gondek Ruchko; his former life partner Emmie Ruchko; his son Mark Ruchko; and his stepdaughter Sally Wilchuck.

He is survived by : his wife Arlene Riker; his daughter Lauri Credito (Ed) of Mt. Carmel, PA; his stepdaughter Jennifer Kozic (Bill) of Bethlehem, PA; his brother Dave Ruchko of Mt. Carmel, PA; and his daughter-in-law Elaine Evanicki (Bill) of Mountain Top, PA. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
