She was predeceased by: her parents, Leitha Hammock Wooten and Monte Wooten; her husband Eugene Ricks; her sons, Ronald Ricks and Jeffrey Ricks; and her siblings, Evelyn Terry, Harold Wooten and Billy Wooten.

She is survived by: her children, Clifford Ricks, Thomas Ricks, Michelle Gill and Mellissa Curry; her brother Wayne Wooten; her grandchildren, Micheal Ricks (Logan) and Mercedes Ricks; and her great grandchildren, Shiori Ricks, Edward Simmons, Bradley Simmons and Marley Ricks.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sue's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
