He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Joseph Albert Laratro and Marnie Saidowski; his wife Deidre Flori; his children, Joe Laratro (Lena) and Marnie Cavalcante (Marcos); and his grandchildren, Joseph Daniel, Giovanni, Olivia, Luca and Capri.
