He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Thomas Freeman and Mamie Lillian Spence; and his siblings, Robert Freeman and Marian Frances Bevis. He is survived by: his wife Thelma Freeman (Strickland); his children, Brad Freeman (Cathy), Mike Freeman (Elisa), Jan Brouwer (Scott) and Lynda Schulte (Tom); and his grandchildren, Jeremy Artz, Jessiann Artz, Julie Artz, Blaine Schulte (Megan), Bryce Schulte (Max), Melissa Barnwell (Danny), Robbie Freeman, Andrew Freeman, Christopher Freeman and Erica Freeman.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (116 6th Ave E, Havana, FL 32333). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
