She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Leslie Ridaught and Winona Louise Ridaught; her husband John F. "Jack" O'Grady; her daughter Tonda Jo Dotson; and her sister Lee Johnson.

She is survived by: her daughter Susanna Sumpter (Rusty); her granddaughter Joanna McKinney (Wes); her great grandchild Tanner Thornton; her grandson George McKinney (Brittany); her son Richard Barton Jr. (Amy); her grandchildren, Wyatt Barton, Rick, Randall Grice and Shaina Grice; her great grandchildren, Zaine, Titan and Shalin; her granddaughter Ashlee Johnson (Steven); her great grandchild Landon; her grandson Adam Dotson (Jennie); her great grandchildren, Oliver and Rosie; her siblings, Les Ridaught (Evelyn), Kathy Scates, Sandra Roberts (Perman), Vie Paul (Rodney) and June Cassala; and her close friend Diana Combs.

In lieu of flowers, JoAnn has kindly requested that donations be made in her name to Woodlawn Baptist Church.
