She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Watson Sr. and Berma Watson Thomas; her daughter Angela Rutledge; her brothers, Herman Watson Jr. and Roosevelt Watson; her nephews, Ramsey Duggan and Demetrick Watson; her grandparents, Tom and Sarah Johnson; and her aunt Betty Mae Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Brenan Watson (Felicia) and Berma Watson (Fred); her grandchildren, Tyree Watson, Brealyn Watson, Marion Stombaugh, Brena Watson, Christiana Watson, Lavarious Stern and Jayquan Jenkins; and her siblings, Flossie Wilson (Clarence), Charlie James (Betty), Altamese Duggan (Alphonso) and Dr. Lonnie Evans Jr..
