He was predeceased by: his grandparents, David and Mary Routt; his parents, Charles Richard Greenwell, Jr. (Teddy) and Mary Laverne Beatty (Routt); and his half-brother J. T. Beatty.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Moore Greenwell; his children, Chad Greenwell (Jennifer), Garth Greenwell, Tara Lanning (Glenn), Laura Likens (Patrick) and Grace Greenwell; his stepdaughter Jennifer Hatfield (Bryan); his half-brothers, Kenny Slone (Mary), Ray Slone (Rita) and James Beatty (Carol); and his grandchildren, Mackenzie, Mason Lanning, Luna, Sawyer Likens and Ethan Greenwell.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Florida National Cemetery (6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513). A reception will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hernando Beach Yacht Club (4163 Shoal Line Blvd, Hernando Beach, FL 34607).
