She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Gordon Buckwheat and Louise Buckwheat; her husband Dr. Bernard Terzigni; her son James; her grandson Randall; her children, Michelle, Dr. Doug (Ellen), Gordon (Carol) and Dr. David (Tracy); and her grandchildren, James, Douglas, David, Allison, Kenny, Melissa, Kim, Becky, Kristen, Lauren, Joey, Andrea, Samantha, Evan, Ava and Jenny.

Sharon Wilson wrote a sympathy message

“So sorry to hear of Joyce's passing. My Uncle Jerome Kekel, from Davison, MI was married to her for a short time in the 50's. They divorced after a few months as he was in the military. He is living in Frankfort, MI at age 89. My mother, Betty Lou Dallas, was also friends of Joyce. They have both always talked highly of Joyce. It sounds like she had a great life.”
