Montella of Hernando, Florida, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 26, 2022, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nick Montella and Macolata Montella (Arfieri); his wife Dorothy Pecoraio (Pecoraio); and his son Robert "Bob" Montella. He is survived by: his son Jerry Montella (Mary) of Hernando, FL; and his grandchildren, Michelle (Robert), Gerald Jr. (Kathy), Dante (Melissa), Robyn (Patt), Robert Jr. (Patti) and David (Janet). He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
