He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Clarence Thomas and Josephine (Hgroman); his wife Gail Thomas (Langford); his children, J. Garland Thomas and Theresa Bennett; and his sisters, Betty M. Branch and Linda Sue Thomas.
He is survived by: his children, Renee Thomas Carter, Johnny Thomas (Ann), Darrell Thomas (Rhonda) and Brandon Thomas (Angel); and his siblings, Jack Thomas Jr. (Teresa), Mary Douglas, JoAnn Stengel, Len Thomas and Charlene LeBrun (John). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Watson-Milton Funeral Home (426 W Wade St, Trenton, FL 32693). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Horeb Baptist Church (3449 NE County Rd 340, High Springs, FL 32643). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Forest Grove Cemetery (22575 NW 94th Ave, Alachua, FL 32615).
