It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Esther Marie Evans of Highland City, Florida, who passed away on January 26, 2026, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor E. Calkins and Clara B. Calkins; her husband Donald W. Evans; and her brothers, Virgil and David Calkins.
She is survived by: her children, Michael, Linda Carew, Jason, Bonnie Brown, Ray and Wanda Bonis; her grandchildren, Travis, Hillary Carew, Chris, Bailey Eade, Charley, Sara Hicks, Ryley, Makayla Hicks, Dirk, Holly Rainbow, Hannah Brown and Christian Bonis; and her siblings-in-law, Judy Calkins, Milburn Evans (Brenda) and William McCulley. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
