Mary Galperin wrote a sympathy message

“Uncle Turner was one of the most honorable men I have ever know. I was so proud to say I knew him and that he was my Uncle. He came to find his “yankee” nieces about 20 years ago. He became a cherished part of my life. I have a sad and heavy heart due to his passing; but I am also thankful to have had the opportunity to share some precious time with him over the last two decades. Uncle Turner, I will miss you in my life. You were very important to me. I love you.”
