The memory of Janine P. Barker of Hilliard, Florida, who passed away on August 5, 2025 at the age of 94, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Royd Pope and Winnie Warren Pope; her husband Edward Barker; her brothers, Tommy Pope and David Pope; and her siblings' children, Mark Pope and Ann Marie Nesmith.
She is survived by: her children, Alan Barker (Rhonda), Thomas Barker (Shirlene), Edie Barker and Warren Barker; her grandchildren, Lara, Chris, Mae, Brittany, Hillari, Blake, Braswell and Beau; her sibling's children, Gary Pope and Vicki Johnson; and her sister-in-law Carol Pope (Rosetta Loudermilk). She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Nassau Funeral Home (541720 US-1, Callahan, FL 32011). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
