She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Preuss and Gertrude Anna Kerber Preuss; and her husband Arnold Brown. She is survived by: her children, Nancy Fehr (Robert), Dewey DeTrude (Christie) and Carol Shaffer (Joe); her brother Charles Preuss (Sally); and her grandchildren, Lyla Hyatt, Christian DeTrude, Travis DeTrude, Mariel DeTrude, Lauren Rockwood and Nicole Perez. She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
