He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Tobin and Mary Tobin; and his brother Vincent (Elizabeth). He is survived by : his wife Jeanne; his children, Yvonne (Ron), Stephen (Nanette), Glenn (Jen) and Brian (Natalie); his grandchildren, Ryan, Robert (Kathleen), John, Becca, Destiny (Michael) and Sonia; and his sisters, Nancy, Molly (David) and Kathy (John).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude's Children' s Hospital or The Society of St. Vincent DePaul.
