Leona H. Ferguson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leona H. Ferguson of Hobe Sound, Florida, who passed away on September 27, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Leona may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Leona touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the New Mt Zion Missionary Baptist Church (8224 SE Pettway St, Hobe Sound, FL 33455). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Forest Hills Memorial Park & Palm City Chapel (2001 SW Murphy Rd, Palm City, FL 34990).
