He was predeceased by: his parents, August Heupel and Maria Heupel (Klooz); his wife Hermina Flieschmann; and his siblings, Alma, Olivia, Lillian, Irma, Viola, Annie, Vivian and Edgar.
He is survived by: his sons, Neal Heupel (Jennifer) of Laramie, WY and David Heupel (Lynn) of Lakewood Ranch, FL; his grandchildren, David (Meaghen), Noah and Abbie; and his sister Irene Lightfoot. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
