He is survived by: his wife Audrey Ahern; his children, James Ahern (Terri), Diane Haines (Barry), Maryann Bozarth (Lyman) and Joann Sewekow; his grandchildren, Kyle Ahern (Rebecca), Lyman Bozarth (Gina), Melissa Morgan (Allan), Joshua and Daniel; and his great grandchildren, Reagam, Adalyn, Cole, Bryann, Henley and Beau.

Charitable donations may be made in Jim's honor to the AccentCare Hospital, Wesley Chapel campus.
