She is survived by: her son Nick Costides; her daughter-in-law Leslie Costides; her daughter Athena Getschal; her son-in-law Cooper Getschal; her sister-in-law Antigoni Lavdas; her nephews, Dean Lavdas (Ioanna Lavdas) and Steve Lavdas; her brother Dimitrios Lavdas; her sister-in-law Thalia Lavdas; her sister Helen Athanasoulis; her brother-in-law Nondas Athanasoulis; her nieces and nephews, Bill Athanasoulis (Sherry Athanasoulis), Filio Athanasoulis, Ioannis Psaros (Athena Psaros), Filio Psaros and Kostandinos Psarros; and her grandchildren, Nick Costides (Darby Costides), Michael Costides (Michelle Costides), Brooke Cason (Clay Cason), Amber Slaughter, Katrina Costides-Hong (Jared Hong) and Dana Estabrook.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. George Greek Orthodox Church (9426 Little Rd, New Port Richey, FL 34654). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 1:45 PM at the Florida National Cemetery (6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation in Mary Costides' name to either St. George Greek Orthodox Church or Hospice c/o Chapters Health System at chaptershealth.org.
