With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Palmira Reis in Holiday, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 22, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her children, Frank, Rosana and Aires; and her grandchildren, Scott of New Mexico, Matthew of Georgia, Gordon of Illinois, Julie of Florida, Kristi of Nebraska, Laura of Georgia, Catherine of Oregon and Jennifer of West Virginia.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Faupel Funeral Home & Cremation Service (7524 Ridge Rd, Port Richey, FL 34668). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at 5340 High St, NEW PRT RCHY, FL 34652.
Her unwavering patriotism was reflected in the service of her family—she raised three veterans, including two retirees, and was proud of their contributions to the nation.
