Gary Wayne Jeffries Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Wayne Jeffries of Hollywood, Florida, who passed away on December 9, 2025 at the age of 72. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gary Wayne Jeffries to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Irene Smith Jeffries and Austin Jeffries; his brother Greg Jeffries; his sister-in-law Cathy Disabato Jeffries; and his grandparents, Roy, Berniece Smith, Owen and Pearl Jeffries.
He is survived by: his wife Debbie; his sons, Austin Jeffries (Brittany), Nicholas Jeffries (Marissa Chunn), Jonathan and Andrew; his sisters, Cathy LaRocco and Sandi Nanni (Arthur); and his grandchildren, Aiden, Ryker and Troy. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Fred Hunter's Funeral Home (6301 Taft St, Hollywood, FL 33024). A reception will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fred Hunter's Funeral Home Community Center (6301 Taft St, Hollywood, FL 33024). During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, Gary—true to form—refused to sit still.
