He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Dorfman and Elizabeth Dorfman; and his sister Norma Lang. He is survived by: his wife Linda Dorfman; his children, Tammy, Michele and Debbye; his grandchildren, Ariel, Aaron, Aaliyah, Jack and Luke; his sister Marilyn; and his sibling's children, Diana, Newton and Ilene.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fred Hunter's Funeral Home (6301 Taft St, Hollywood, FL 33024). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:45 PM at the Fred Hunter's Hollywood Memorial Gardens North (3001 N 72nd Ave, Hollywood, FL 33024).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society or MD Anderson Cancer Center, in honor of Howard's memory.
