He was predeceased by: his parents, Sebastian Gurciullo and Santa Gurciullo; his wife Ruth "Ruthy" Spallitta Gargiullo; and his siblings, Lucy, Millie, Josie and Charlie.
He is survived by: his children, Jeanne Holland, Joan Levy (Neil), Joe Gargiullo (Lisa) and John Gargiullo (Teresa); his grandchildren, Christopher Semprun (Erin), Diana Brooks (Karvin), Jennifer Israel (Jay), Dena Pierce (Lenny), Matthew Levy (Chelsea), John Gargiullo, Sarah Gargiullo, Emily Gargiullo (Rob), Keri Gargiullo Benson (Stephen), Zachery, Alex Kimble, Andrew and Travis Brown; his great grandchildren, Jordyn, Kaylee, Kayden Brooks, Ava, Domenic Israel, Tyson, Jocelyn, Isaac Pierce, Cameron Knapp, Chase, Dakota Semprun and Madison Levy; and his sister Connie Morse. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
