He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Otero and Maria Otero (Rivera). He is survived by: his wife Ermelinda Urbina Rivera; and his children, Marisol Otero, David Otero, Migdalia Otero and Cindy Otero. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren; and many family members.
