He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Ferrara and Mae Ferrara; and his brother Thomas Ferrara. He is survived by: his brother Anthony Ferrara. He is also survived by two sisters-in-law, and eight nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Misericordia, 6300 N. Ridge Ave., Chicago, IL 60660.
