Though Rodney may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Rodney touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Deeter and Ida Preston Deeter; and his stepgrandson Nicholas Whitton. He is survived by: his close friend Robert Leadbetter; his stepson Eugene Whitton of Hollywood, FL; his stepgranddaughter Amber Whitton; his siblings, Randy Westfall (Kay) of Sprague, WA, Tina Thompson (Tim) of Jefferson, OH, Kim Renae Nightingale (Ron) of Trinity, TX and Billie Jo Voss (Charles) of Lakeland, FL; and his cousin Chuck Walter of Titusville. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
