He was predeceased by: his son John Michael Cagnina; and his parents, Ignazio E. Cagnina and Josephine Cagnina. He is survived by: his wife Carol Gilley-Cagnina; his sister Carmen Shea (Bill); his sister-in-law Dorothy Surette; and his aunt Josie Pollock. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to The Center of Anna Maria Island.
