He was predeceased by: his wife Nelda Paulette Taylor Derrick; his parents, Leo Wiley and Maezella Jones Derrick; and his sister Rebecca Bryant. He is survived by: his children, Leo Derrick (Jennifer) of Holt, Larry Derrick (Tiffany) of Holt, Paula Mashburn (Mike) of Milton, Lisa Mashburn of Holt and Jeanie Barrow of Holt; and his sister Renee Ray. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews.
