She was predeceased by: her parents, Goy Whitehead and Gladys Brown Whitehead; her husband Joseph Baublitz, Sr.; her son Joseph Baublitz, Jr.; her grandsons, Jimmy Latulipe and Neil Baublitz; her great grandchild Aiden Walker; her siblings, Jeanett Mounsey, Kitty Purcell, Charles and Ray Whitehead; her extended family Rick Condit; and her friends, Nellie and Phil Foley.

She is survived by: her children, Deborah Grandstaff, Katherine Mizell, Thomas Starkey, Betty Jo Bock and Timothy Baublitz; her siblings, Burkett Whitehead, Susie Burke, Coy Whitehead, Paul Whitehead, Chester Whitehead, Beverly Simpson, Hup Whitehead, Jean Lovito and Dianne Whitehead; her extended family Catey Condit; and her friend Pat Niles. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
