She is survived by: her children, Brenda McNabb, Howard Best, Wayne Best, Bruce Best and Janet Phillips; and her siblings, Nadine McLain, Ray Sowell and Robert Sowell. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
