He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Arcilia Curiel Mancias and Rafael Pedro Rivera; his uncle David Esquivel; and his cousin Brisco Domingo Leon. He is survived by: his wife Melissa Acosta; his children, Nicolas Acosta, Mia Abrego, Eva Abrego and Lilianne Abrego; his parents, Marie Abrego and Nectali Quintanilla; and his brother Pedro Abrego. He is also survived by father to his son and three daughters.
