It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shannon A. Nelson of Homestead, Florida, born in Phoenix, Arizona, who passed away on October 28, 2023, at the age of 39, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her mother Shirley Ann Nelson (Rowland); and her stepfather Charles A. Mason, Sr.. She is survived by : her son Jayden Gomez of Homestead, FL; her close friend Ronnie Angelo Tookes; her brothers, Charles A. Mason, Jr. of Grass Valley, CA and Cole A. Mason; her uncles, John W. Rowland, Jr. (Jean Terry) of Ft. Myers, FL and David Rowland (Marie DeMello) of Phoenix, AZ; and also Heather.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations in her memory be made to her family to assist in the care of her son, Jayden.
