He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Smith and Ella Smith (Schliff); his wife Elizabeth M. Smith; his son Robert Smith; and his sister Eileen Wrobel.
He is survived by: his children, Douglas Smith of Hudson, FL, Patricia V. Trejos of Hudson, FL, Janice Rose of Palm Harbor, FL, Donna Bassignani (Harold) of Cold Spring, NY and Audra Ogden (Roy) of Mohegan Lake, NY. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
