He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Welles and Beatrice Taunton Welles of Hosford, FL; and his brother Richard Welles. He is survived by: his wife Gretchen Osteen Welles; his children, Noah Welles (Monica) of Bristol, Florida and Sarah Welles Hamilton (Wesley Hill); his grandchildren, Aidan Hamilton, Icey Sheffield, Corbin Hamilton, Caitlyn Fulton, Gabriel Welles, Callie Welles, Kaisley Hamilton and Weston Hill; his great grandchildren, Brinley May Hamilton and Briarlyn Hamilton; and his brother Archie Eugene Welles (Carol) of Cheshire. He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
