David leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. David’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew David will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Helfrich and Sarah Helfrich. He is survived by: his wife Nancy; and his children, Steve Helfrich (Leta) of Redlands, CA., Leslie Jacobs (Glenn) of Tampa, FL, Dave Helfrich (Karen) of Oklahoma City, OK, Kim Greiwe (JB) of Tampa, FL, Mike Helfrich (Fran) of St. Petersburg, FL, Erik Helfrich of Clermont, FL, Chris Helfrich of Boca Raton, FL and Shannon Bishoff (Will) of Clive, IA. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, and 27 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Hudson First United Methodist Church (13123 US-19, Hudson, FL 34667).
