He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon B. Wittig and Margaret Wittig; his siblings, Keith and Lois; his wife Mary Lou; and his son Jeffrey.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Opp Woods; his children, Mary Beth Seaha of Aiken, Susan Wittig of Plantsville, Cynthia Tolley of Spartanburg and Matthew Wittig of Los Angeles, California; and his daughter-in-law Mickie Wittig of Jacksonville, Florida. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
