She is survived by: her husband Gary Mattix; her children, Marquita Gates (Leon), Ronald Mattix (Kathy), Chrissy Padova (Andy), Robin Mattix and Tammy Mattix-Wilson (late Dennis); and her grandchildren, Jeremy Gates (Kimberly), Michelle Newland (Heston), Sherry Edwards (Art), Jacob Gates (Melissa), Keith McCarthy, Joshua Mattix (Ashley), Linn Marie Mattix, Shelby Mattix, Jordan Padova (Alyssa) and Austin Padova (Lauren).

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hudson First United Methodist Church (13123 US-19, Hudson, FL 34667). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
